Bri's Testimony

"...I firmly believe that I could not have had the experience I did without Mikalyn as my doula. From her calm and understanding energy, to her helpful tricks...I recommend her services to every mom out there."

Lauren's Vbac Testimony

" Mikalyn has such an invaluable way of making you feel so POWERFUL! Every step of the way she listened with open ears and cared for us with a loving heart... I remember being in a very hard moment mentally and she was the person I called out for and needed, not my husband or mom, but her."

Hi, I am Mikalyn

Self proclaimed birth photographer and doula capturing the moments. Not just any moments, the big moments. The moments that define us, change us, and rearrange our lives. The moments that are too good to forget, that you'll want to relive over and over again.

As a doula and birth photographer, I am always honored and humbled to be chosen to capture your moments and be there for you during one of life's biggest events, the birth of your baby.

Capturing the moments

Photography

What an privilege it is to be there for someone. For a stranger to invite you in to their most intimate moments and capture the essence of a mood and to keep hold of a precious breath in time. There are few things in life that can let you relive your yesterdays like a photograph. The pictures are a passage between now and what once was and behind it all, is a photographer who was asked to be there.

See My Work

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
